We are a lighthouse and swisstainable

The hotel industry focuses on energy efficiency

The Lighthouse project motivates hotels to increase their energy efficiency and emit less CO². In this way, we make an important contribution to achieving the cantonal reduction targets.

Graubünden hotels attach importance to energy efficiency and the conscious use of resources. hotelleriesuisse Graubünden supports them in this. 98 Graubünden tourism businesses, including the Hotel Chesa Randolina, are putting this into practice with the lighthouse project.

From "hidden champion" to sustainability leader

We live in the age of sustainability and the pandemic has reinforced the desire for authenticity, closeness to nature and prudent consumption. No destination represents this zeitgeist like Switzerland. We have always been careful to bring the needs of our guests, the local population and the environment into a harmonious balance.

We want to and will strengthen this attitude in the future and also communicate it to our guests. To this end, we would like to start an effective movement together with the entire Swiss tourism industry with the new sustainability strategy Swisstainable.

With Swisstainable, we are taking a first big step that will secure the success of Destination Switzerland in the long term and aim to make Destination Switzerland the most sustainable destination in the world.

We are part of the sustainability program Swisstainable and classified at level II – engaged. The sustainability program Swisstainable unites businesses and organizations along the entire Swiss tourism sector. With our participation, we commit ourselves to continuous sustainable business development, pursue measures in the field of sustainability and thus make a concrete contribution to a sustainable Swiss tourism.
